Seems to have a role in retrograde membrane traffic at the level of the Golgi complex. May function in retrograde transport in neuronal cells. Interacts with BICDL1/BICDR1; leads to its accumulation in the pericentrosomal region (By similarity). Interacts with RAB6KIFL. Interacts (GTP-bound) with BICD1 (via C-terminus); the interaction is direct. Interacts (GDP-bound) with DYNLRB1. Interacts (GTP-bound) with APBA1/MINT1 isoform 2, also called Mint1_826, but not with isoform 1.
