Involved in stratified epithelial development. It is a direct transcriptional target of TP63. Plays a role in NF-kappa-B activation. Interacts with PRKCB (By similarity). Interacts with TRAF1, TRAF2, TRAF3 and TRAF5. Interacts with BIRC2/c-IAP1, BIRC3/c-IAP2 and XIAP/BIRC4.
