Receptor for arginine vasopressin (PubMed:7698346, PubMed:8257689). The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Involved in renal water reabsorption. Interacts with ARRDC4. Identified in a complex containing at least ARRDC4, V2R and HGS.
